yeah i'll post pics on as it gets better. dad already has a 411 and it's been sitting at his factory for years then he found the 412 and
bought that. He is going to do the 412 up and use the 411 for parts.

How rare are the type 4's? You just don't see them, even at the shows.
You can sort of see early Passat looks in it, particularly from the rear.

I think that the 411 / 412s were all private imports
ive seen about 20 or so over the years. If you really want one i know where a few are.

Thanks, but no thanks! My type 3 is rare enough!
If I was going to buy something that rare I'd definitely be going KG.

yeah parts are hard to find, one of the guys was going to give it to me a 411 4 door sedan, but the wrecker in Canberra has a few,
Personally i would want one but they are nice to drive and when u see that pic above well, they do look good
you could probally get one for less than a grand i recon.

411s & 412s are nice...
Ever since I saw My first 4 door 411 back in the early 70's, I have always wanted one. I like the look of them and a 4 door air cooled
VW... Unreal.... and a type 4 engine... and more power... UNREAL... I love em... I DO prefer the look of the 412 over the 411 though.... the
metallic blue 412 wagon is especially nice...:thumb:thumb:thumb:thumb
