So when are you bringing it out and getting it all muddy me dave and andrew with the towd went out to ormeau today and i broke well bend a tie rod so bad it hit the fire wall with a load bang and i thought i was staying there but we stragihter and drove it home very slowly

Well it wasnt really planed i just put my shita back together and drove it around daves not expecting to go hang off mountains didnt even bring any spares, tow ropes nothing but i need a digi camera

Well i cant fit anymore that 31s under my shita but there uniroyal mud terrian and i love em nice and quiet on road and wicked offroad aslong as i dont get stuck on the pan i cant get stuck they just dig away nicely but my next bug will have 33 10.5 allterrains only cause i cant afford 2 sets one sand and one mud

Hey Tim, 33's wont fit unless you run $$$ worth of longer rear arms. 31's only just miss the torsion bars with standard arms.

LOL Ruckus....he's not even 2 yet...and the worst bit is we have a ramp from our backdoor instead of steps...he loves flying down that on the board too......

They will if you have the torrsion bar end plates that dont have the big rods that stick out mine had 35s on it when i got it mind you they would have scraped going over a ten cent coin but they were on there

That "big rod that sticks out" is part of the IRS springplate....
The IRS has longer torsion bars that go through the torsion plate housing.... What springplates are on your Bug?
You cant just swap the IRS and swingaxle springplates either as the swingaxle springplates are longer than the IRS ones

yea but you can weld a Swing axle centre spline into the IRS springplate, or cut down a swing spring plate to fit IRS, then fit the swing axle torsion bars and end cap.

Well mine is a factory irs but somone has put the cover plates like a swing axle on i dont know how but the did and they are the same as the ones on andrews towd
