Fuel Injection Help Fixed

Hi I have just installed an engine from a 68 type3 fuel injected into my 73 fastie. Went for a drive went alright then it started to run rought and started to blow black smoke when at idle there is a huge cloud of black smoke and the car drives of running rough.

Sometimes it idles ok but wen you rev the motor it blows black smoke . then if you just bring the revs up a little the black smoke just pours out and the engine runs rough.

I have unplugged te cold start injector and this made no change.

Can anyone help please as this is my daily driver
thanks heaps

marc

Your were not far wrong the pipe to the fuel pressure regulator had come off and fallen under the air intake. So a new clamp and now running real well

thanks for your thoughts
