New Project
I recently picked up my 64 Beetle, has been in storage since 71 and is in great condition. Am planning on building it into a club racer, just
historic, sprint style stuff- nothing crazy. Just want to paint, lower it, set of wheels, good motor and a cage- plus the usual. I need to know a few
things, will post seperately.
Hope to have it competing at the Noosa Historic Hillclimb in November
Need to know things like, lowering front beams, best tyre size, carbies etc- have always just been into the standard stuff, so am not all familar with
the performance gear.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah sure...it'll have a stroker, turbo and intercooler before long, you know you won't be able to help yourself.
