changing rocker covers ?
how do i put on my shiny new chrome rocker covers?( and gaskets)??yeah..you guessed it >I know bugger all!!but I love the chrome!

lets start with the basics the rocker covers are above the heater boxes and on a bug you get at them from behind each rear wheel. there is a clip that
holds them on it goes across the middle horizontally. the best way to get it off is to use a screw driver to lever it out and down. you then put the
gasket inside the cover. i use contact adhesive to hold it in place while i put it on. then its the reverse of taking it off to put it back on.
