Extra 1600 twin port engine - spare engine I assume , use it for spare parts or sell it.
Webber carb - well know brand of aftermarket, usually higher performance carburettor. Will make the Beetle go faster, if properly set up.
149 cam - a type of cam shaft, which is an internal component in the engine. I don't know if it's a high performance cam of some description, but
chances are it is.
Ain't nothin' like the wind in your hair.

yeah that ones gorgeous, but i live in brisbane. ive sent him a u2u to find out if its registered and roadworthy. also, if i was to move it here i
would have to pay 10% to qld transport for the stampduty for them to transfer it into my name. and i dont really have a spare $600 for that. is that
true that thats how you change rego from state to state? my flatmate told me that.

Stamp duty is only 2.2% and about $20. So if you buy a car valued at $1000 then you will need to pay QLD Tpt about $20 + $22 = $44 and so on. I have
no idea where 10% came from .... but it is incorrect.

Transfer taxes are a joke. But if your like me when you buy a car you get the seller to put a lower figure. The RTA down here in NSW couldn't care
about a 40 year old cars value. If you say it is $200 it must be, it's old. I have paid good money for cars but never paid duty on more than $500.
Why would you want to. Obvioulsy the seller has to agree or in most cases they just say i'll leave that field blank and you fill it in. Too easy.
Problem arises on newer cars because they know they are worth something. I am negotiable on the car too if your interested.
