Revmaster...

I cant find the post, but I read on shoptalkforums that revmaster will be selling a 3 litre T1 based engine (not T1 cased) that is capable of 280ish Hp in a NA format (depending on combo). The webpage outlines the aero version..

Revmaster have the dual plug thing happening as an option. According to the post they modify the #1 beaing to the same id/od as the other 3, and the crank is forged for this application. Bore/stroke is 90 x 102.36 (oohhh ahhh)

The cost quoted was 6700 US for a long block !!! Step on up...

I'm looking for some images I have of my old 2180 Revmaster from lots of years ago. Twin plug, dual magneto and a single "Posiflow" carb. In the early years there was a problem with quality control at the Revmaster factory and engine failure was not unheard of as a result of poor QA.........you could have bought the whole plane for $6700 back then, and not USD either!
