gear box stuck in gear


hi people
i have a gear box that is stuck in gear there is no motor on it and it's on a pan
how do i get it out of gear??
and is it stuffed?

is the stick movable but not changing gear? if so check the basics like coupling...... ive had a coupling take a shit coming off the freeway, drove 3km in 3rd hehe

Not sure if you have this same problem but will let you know anyway: On our buggy we have had the problem of it being stuck in 3rd, moving the gearstick didnt help at all. Open the oil filler plug in the side of the gearbox and you can carfully lever the gear back through there.

Well if it is the same as the problem i described then it is just that someone has been trying to put it in between 1st and 3rd, shifter may need adjusting.
