Splitty extractors
Just wondering if any splitty owners are running extractors and what fits a lowered bus.
I would like a stainless exhaust but I dont know what will fit as my bus is quite low
Cheers
Dave

I run just the normal large flange Thunderbird extractors with a tuck away muffler that fits up under the guard on my ute. doesn't hit anything and
has good clearance.

Dave,
Have a look at the latest copy of Ultra VW (Issue 11). there is a lowered straight axle conversion candy red splitty in there that is running
extractors and a turbo muffler.
Cheers
Steve
Found this link but not much help on the muffler:-

shouldn't cost too much to get a custom job from the header flange.
just go to your friendly local exhaust shop and get them to fit it up. |
