Can anyone give/point me in the direction of how to replace an accelerator cable in a 68 beetle?
Thanks

1) depending on where its snapped remove the engine end first.
2) when you get your new cable make sure uts the right length, there were a couple of different lengths.
3) get a 17mm ratchet and remove the cover (under the carpet perhaps) on the passenger side.
4) you will now see the arm that the cable connect to, this is held on with a circlip so take that off.
5) you can now withdraw the arm, remove the accellerator cable.
6) before fitting the new cable I like to add a little grease up the tube, just a few squirst from your grease gun or similar.
7) put it back together :)
