1600 Twinport for buggy - SOLD

OK, this is the motor that proelled by buggy from it's birth. It's got about 20,000km on it since being rebuilt and set up in the buggy, and only 5,000 since a full overhaul and repaint.

The motor has a Solex PICT30 carby, modified tinware so no flanges poking out everywhere, Subaru electric fuel pump, custom exhaust (10,000km old).

This is a nice motor and is well worth the $750 asking price. Bolt her in and away you go, many happy years of buggying. It could be put back into a Beetle if you replace the tinware over the pots. The fan shroud has heater ducts and all holes welded in properly, so no provision for heater in your beetle unless you pop another shroud onto her.

I will be sad to see this one go to someone else, but it's being replaced by a V6 of some sort (another heated post on here about that one)

Definately a good deal if you want one of these gems in good nick.

OK. I thought I had this motor sold, but I can't track the guy down. If you're him and you read this, call me on 0433 147 203 or email me directly at celticwarrior71@hotmail.com

Price is $600 for the motor now. $750 if you want it with the swing axle trans still attached (it's a good clean one). Or $200 for the trans on it's own.

I need to sell this urgently, and can deliver to Geebung in Brisbane free...:bounce
