im just wondering if anyone has tried to fit an electric a/c compressor to a bug or bus. im thinking of the system of the t3 transporter as it is
small enough to fit under the back seat. what systems do those that have them in there cars have

Would have thought a compressor from some funky micro korean japanese car would be the go
The old ones are R12 and need to be converted to 134A - its a pain

Not sure, but my Brothers T3, locally fitted by VW dealer when new was belt driven.
Would need a good alt. to run an electric pump + fans etc.
