Is there anyway I can align the clutch when i re-install it with out one of these?
If it's imperitive that I use one, can I borrow one off someone?

peice of bar the same size as the hole will do it .....
or the input shaft from an old gearbox.

hmmm... i dont have any pieces of bar that diameter... anyone got a piece of input shaft?! I've got one, but its kinda attached to a gearbox
and a pair of axels!

hehe a drill bit? the shaft end? be creative...... otherwise a junker box may be cheaper than buying the tool :p

use a drill bit that fits the spigot bearing and wrap tape around it until it fits the clutch. Instant tool.......

curtain rod dowell, leg odd the ole dressing table ??
or pvc pipe as long as you get close to the diameter ie roll on masking tape to get the right thickness
