Hey there are alot of rumours (see Samba) about metal repros being available in the not to distant future. I can imagine they'll be cheap when it finally does happen though. Maybe you should chase up those?

I wouldn't waste your time with bring them into the country If I had them on my bus I'd died of embarassment the first time sombody said "Are those bumpers fiberglass ?"
Its about time that sombody repro's these in steel as they have been in demand for years.

Anyway would have to question the impact qualitys of these bumpers in an accident and would the insurance companys really like it if you did have a bad accident with bumpers as strong as a tin foil.
