Should be able to get one in the 10 to 12 grand region.....2.5L you after?
Test drive for the gearbox....they tend to have problems at the 200/250,000klm mark. The engines are great and should do 400,000klms no probs at all.
Other probs are the shift bushes...an easy fix tho

These are great vans, heaps of room, great handling and enough grunt most of the time. The 2.5L is a little thirsty though but if you get a cat back system on them, this increases the mid range power, gives them better fuel economy and generally makes them a lot more drivable. If you have the choice then go for the turbo diesel model, loads more torque and around 1200K on a tank. They go like stink too. The V6 2.8L Carravelle is also very grunty and better on fuel than the 2.5L.

Great vehicle to drive, the boss love it, you could never get her out of it now. I must apply in triplicate to borrow the vehicle for any reason....Go out and grab one, a seriously great van to run around in for a large family.
