Vintage Vee Dub have drop spindles ( beat ya Dave!)
Pete, you will have to narrow the front end, as the spindles add about 10-15mm to you track, or those tyres will rub those nice straight guards.

Yep there from CB...
The old ones used to increase the track width ,,,, but they say that this not the case anymore. VVDS is checking to see if the ones they have in
stock are stock track width.
Or you could fit 155 tyres also available
ring for a price

well it would be less work with the dropped spindles as they bolt on, where easy to lower the beam you have to remove it completely from the car.
what size wheels are you going to use ?? and off set
dont forget to get a wheel alignment after its all set up. You will need camber adjustment as well.

Drop spindles, are they same as Beetles? as Volkspower in Melbourne have em in stock, look for Dean, its approx $450 according to my memory. Its for
beetles~ so if the Ghia's come with the same type then yeah...
They are Brand New.

I was advised not to put the dropped spindles on my ghia (as dave becker said) and went for a gene berg lowering kit instead.
A lot of work but I'm happy with the finished item.
SORRY BOUT THAT!
