I have a WEBER carby that was made for Beetles back in the 70s+. They were a straight bolt onto a twin port inlet manifold. I have it on My single
port manifold with modifications... Seems to go OK but My car isn't on the road as yet... Maybe a bit too rich with the restricted air on a single
port engine.... bettyer than too lean...
You can go to twin kadrons on a single port engine..
I have seen pics and spoken to someone who has the set up.. that would be the way to go...
Same or better economy and better zoom zoom....
Single port manifolds may be hard to find.... or have them made up...
cheers
Lee

They were made I believe as a replacement for the Solex carby... for the Beetles...
but I can't find any more info on it...
This one is like New... My son bought it at a swap meet...
Only problem is the manual choke....
but its not a very big problem..... I'll sort it out..
