Beer song
I am ashamed that I forgot to mention the beer song. I don't know who sings it or what it is actually called, nor do I know many of the words.
But, I think the chorus(?) goes something like this:
"Oh I like beer, it makes me a jolly-good fellooooow, ow I like beer.
It helps me unwind -sometimes it makes me feel mellooooow.
Whiskeys too rough, champaigne costs too much, vodka puts my mouth in gear; this little (refrain?) can help me explain: as a matter of fact I like
beer."
I think that is sort of how it goes. As they sing they get drunker and drunker and it is a very funny song.
Anyone heard it or know where I am coming from??

Hey kol we can remember you literally rolling drunk down the hill at Appollo Bay
Don't have a preference, will drink whatever is there. Hmmm, I'm not easy:jesus
Used to be Red Back with a slice of lemon when in trendy mode. Boag is good:thumb
Like the swing top on Grolsch bottle. The bottles can be recycled but what do you do with so many? The beers not bad either:beer
Heinekin was the last one I had in fridge.
p.s. son's friend is taking a bottle of Tequila over to London with him tomorrow to continue a long family (including initiated friends)
tradition

I remember that beer drinking song - 'As a matter of fact, I love beer.' It was sung by Tom T. Hall in the early '70s. I have it on
tape somewhere.
James Squire is a nice little 'boutique' brewery just around the corner from my office. Their wheat beer and India Pale Ales are extremely
drinkable.
My local bottlo always seems to have Reschs Real on special...thank goodness. I drink a lot of that.

Just cracked another cold, switched from Vitamin B a few years ago, when I developed taste buds. As for the best beers: Guinness or Tetley's
Bitter on tap, Kilkenny would have to be about the best beer they've ever managed to put in a can. The Resch's used to go down real well on
a long hot day in NSW, and Cooper's was the go in SA. Oh, I'm starting to list every beer in the country again, did I say I like beer -
I've even been known to knock back a few XXXXs in Far North Q'land during the silly season.
Which reminds me - can anyone tell me the correct reason they call it XXXX. Is it because banana-benders can't spell beer, or because
they're not allowed to write sh#t on the can?

XXXX???
Nah,
I reckon the only reason that we (Even though I am in Sydney I am a QLDer!!! Home is where the heart is) have XXXX on the can is because using the
same letter four times is easier than coming up with some other name, and wasting valuable drinking time thinking of a slogan or classy name!
