Mooneyes query
Has anyone bought anything from http://www.mooneyes.com and been satisfied with the
product and the savings from buying direct?
I bought some stuff from Johnny's Speed and Chrome a long time ago now, and never had any problems [except the lady thought I was ordering a Cobranot a Car Bra - but that's another story]. The package was delivered in one piece, and no breakages.
So.....has anyone gone through these guys?

Magoos Hotrods are in NZ. They are our nearest dealer. I have bought stuff from the US and also NZ and never had a worry although the prices weren't
that cheap. The guys at Magoos are really nice all the same.
Quality of product though is a concern. The moon tacho i bought ($240) is very nice etc but the quality of the chrome is crap and i have to say that
if i'd seen it i wouldn't have paid so much. Same goes for a peep mirror i got aswell. Similar to that rip off so called Empi crap thats made in
Taiwan.

Just looking at some Flat 4 BRMs. They quote $119 a rim. Current exchange rate is .75c US. That works out to be AU$640 give or take - then plus
shipping on top of that. So whilst it might be easier to get wheels in Australia logistically [and less hassles etc], financially it might be cheaper
to go O.S.
So just weighing up logistics v cost.

Have a look at this
$119us cost ( is this with tax)
Aus dollar @ 75c, so you'll be lucky if you bank will do 68c
So thats $175au X 4 = 700
plus Duty of if your lucky 15% = $805
Plus Shipping on a set of wheels ( without an account at an agent) at a guess $350+
so how much can you get them for here ?
anyway hope this helps

Wow JNR... I thought they were new, but not that new!
I just put in an order under a week ago for... 'bits', and haven't seen it yet, but expect to soon. This is the second time I have bought directly
from them, and have been happy so far.
