mechanical or electrical gauges? (or is this dependant on the senders? sorry, i'm not the best when it comes to this sort of thing...)

would i have to go get senders of the same brand for these to work?

the tachometer only needs an input from the (-) side of the coil. However oil temp and pressure usually require their own senders. Each manufacturer
has their own signal range usually
