Gear boxes and parts
I am posting this for an old friend of mine who is a retired VW mechanic of 40 years. He has some complete gear boxes and some incomplete. All items
are serviceable. As he has no computer, is early to bed and has been ripped off before, I said I will handle all initial contacts and pass only geuine
enquiries to him. I will answer all questions that I can but as I don't know all the different types and tech questions I will have to ask the
seller which means there may be a delay in getting back to you.
My details are;
First name: Shawn Phone after 7pm NOT after 9.30 pm 07 5448 8859. Maroochydore 4558.
Items are:
Golf 4 speed, overhauled, serviceable $380.00
Beetle type 1 gearbox, CV axle type, overhauled, serviceable $400.00
Combi type 2, 2litre gearbox, overhauld, serviceable $600.00
Golf 4 speed, incomplete, servicable parts as follows
hemisphere, crownwheel and pinion, 1st gear, 1st and 2nd gearhub and sleeve, 2nd gear, reverse gear, seleter forks and rods, clutch rod
bearing+bush+plate $250.00
Passat gearbox, incomplete, servicable parts $400.00
He may also have a lot of hard to find bits for gear boxes which are too many to list here. U2U me for any requests and I'll pass them on and get
back to you.

or just take your word for it
last time i bought with out testing
3rd and 4th are fucked
payed top doller too
so can i test it
or do i have to pay top dollar

Yeh, I can understand the question. This guy is genuine and you can come up and talk to him look at the box and probably pick up some other bits as
well. It would be worth your while to take a few hours off to come up.
Let me know if you want to do this and I will arrange it. PS. He plays bowls on Sat mornings so that out!
Also if you want the other gearbox fixed for a very reasonable price he could do that for you.
