WA - parts and mechanic advice

I have a '63 beetle that is in need of some mechanical lovin'

can anyone suggest:

a) a good, honest mechanic in the perth metro area
b) where to get spare parts, i have been browsing http://www.wolfsburgwest.com  but am hoping for something a bit more local to avoid shipping nightmares.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions
