how much can u narrow a splitty kombi front beam


wondering if anyone here has done such a thing and how much can be narrowed before body work modifications

Mine is narrowed 4 inches without any body mods. Some of the guys in the US are doing 4 1/2 in now too.

Then there's this mothod!!!! :duh

Talk to twoguns. He has one of the CBB kits fro his split.

They can probably go even narrower if required.

likewise, mine is narrowed curteous of mike at CBB.... cnacan never remember what by, only that its about as much as you can before body work is required, and the ute is getting the same treatment. looks great and handles brilliant. no more sill rubbing, and i run 17 x 7

that pick above was to gain this result...

the one going in the ute, is a rebuilt ball joint, with adjusters, narrowed and discs...i think ita about 1800
