VW VOLKSWAGEN 1969 MEYERS MANX BEACH BUGGY DUNE BUGGY
Here is a head turning professionaly built Meyers Manx beach buggy. The ultimate fun machine. It is in very good condition and ready to enjoy. The
fibreglass body and paintwork is in very good condition. These were both professionaly prepared at great expense and really look the goods. The motor
is a 1600 twinport which goes very well with plenty of power. It is in very good condition and has a Scat sports muffler with a chrome pulley
protector. The interior has a sports steering wheel and additional gauges. It has a ball-joint front end with front disk brakes and has front and rear
Koni adjustable suspension. The chassis is in excellent shape and was professionally engineered. The beach buggy has front and rear protection bars
and alloy windsreen surround. It has all safety protection including roll-cage and side intrusion bars. These can easily be removed if required as
they are enclosed in the side pods. The wheels are Peko stars with good tyres. It has just recently had a new petrol tank fitted. This beach buggy is
fully road registered and clearly states the all important 'beach buggy' on the registration papers. The buggy even comes with a new professionally
made soft top and side curtains to fully enclose the cabin. This was done at great expense by a a good motor trimmer. This buggy is ready to enjoy and
have fun in. No hassles in building and then trying to get it registered. No money to spend just jump in and drive. This is a fun, safe and dependable
buggy. Only genuine buyers please. Please no timewasters or dreamers.Negative feedback will be left for non paying bidders. Payment to be finalised
within 5 days. I am happy to organise transport anywhere in Australia.Estimated shipping costs to Sydney is around $650 and Melbourne $500.This is
quite inexpensive to do. Good luck bidding!
Now for sale at $5800....

It has been popping up on E bay for months now.
I think it started out at $9,000.
If you have a good look at it and the people in the know will see it is not a genuine Meyers manx.

It would cost a few $ to get to the East Coast as well. It's in WA.

doesnt really matter what brand if it is a short wheel base and its regd and it looks very nice then it is worth it
lets all do a little exersise and price building one from scratch and see how much you spend i bet you,ll be shocked at what it costs to build
hope you get what you want for it

Be warned.
I have recently purchased a buggy from another state.
I got it for $7,500 but it has cost me another $1,800 getting it here and regoed.
Then found that the motor soon developed a bad nocking noise in it, then the gearbox let go after putting another motor in it.
moral of the story.
Get some one to drive it that knows about vw's before buying it.
I sent someone who knows a lot about japanese cars but jack about vw's.
My Bad on that one

what would be involved in relicicensing this in eastern states. most buggies - especially older builds have no mod or engineering papers/certificates
- other than the licence paper that says vw beachbuggy.
would a swb need to engineer inspected and report provided, traffic inspected etc???? |

Piss easy to get it regoed in NSW, if it has held rego for more than 2 years in WA.
It only needs a weigh bridge ticket to go through blue slip.
I have no engineers reports for the roll cage in mine and it pass with out any dramas
