HELP FOR 1990 GOLF..!

Can anyone tell me which petrol should I use for 1990 Golf 8v 1600cc engine? Leaded or Unleaded? On the petrol cap lid says leaded or unleade and minimum 91oct. It has Escort weber carby.

Also if anyone know where can I get a voltage regulator for SEV Motorola Alternator.
Thanks a lot!

If it pings just adjust the timing on dizzy

every 4th time you can use lead replacement fuel
or use an additive in the fuel

straight unleaded

all golfs after about 1980 had hard valve seats, so you can run it on whatever unleaded you like, but premium is the best! ... LRP is supposed to save your valve seats but carbons up everything else!

All cars sold after 1985 had to run on unleaded
so if the motor is original use unleaded

i recall most euro cars were tuned to run on high octane unleaded petrol
