type 3 shifter conversion to a scat


hey all..bought myself a new dragfast scat shifter...mmmmmm:thumb
however i am a little scared to put it in myself, incase i strip a gear or sumfin...can anyone shed some light? gimme some info...cus i'd like to put it in..but...dont wanna come out with a broken box..

It bolts straight in, just adjust it till it feels right. very nice shifter btw.

Do the shifters have the same sized plate where they bolt to the tunnel? If so just mark the old plate and bolt the new one in the same place.

Otherwise there are some posts on here about adjusting that plate to sort out gear selection, ie if you mis place it you will struggle to get one or more gears. A quick search should bring up some helpful info.
