OH NUTS (Porsche Dials 2 4 bolt Q) TEC UPDATE !

Recently bought the wheels pictured from Wrecker67 and are off to be painted t'w.

I have adapters for my 4 stud pattern on the Notch.

I also have the bolts that hold the adapters on (4 of them) with one of them going all the way through both wheel and adapter.

What nuts do i use for the rest of them and where can i get some in Sydney?

Many thanks

Dan:o

dan

You can buy a full set of black anodised aluminum genuine porsche ones for about $140 from Porsche direct last time I checked. You can use Kombi ones but alum ones are better for the alloys.

Cheers

Hi

Bob Whyms Automotive (02)9838 7373 sell the factory titanium nuts, they maybe a little cheaper than Porsche. They also sell them in locking nuts as well. Kombi nuts will also fit.

16 x7's rub!

Finally after getting all the right bolts , i painted up the adapters ( 4 bolt to porsche)and went to bolt the rear rims on. Ahhh pants , they rub on the bump stop , the metal lip that is on the top , the bit the rubber hits against. Reckon i need to shave off about 5-10mm of it to clear the 16 x 7 rims happily. No biggie but just wondering if anyone else had had to do this. Car is a 65 notch with irs.

Yep Mr Anglegrinder came out to play and shaved about 8mm of the lip i was on about. Finished off the edges and repainted , now looks as it should. Blue slip time pretty soon so all has to be 100%.

Bloody Porsche rims! All w'end spent messing around but at least on the car now!

Happy days

dan;)

Here you go Pyro. I wanted to get an idea and check fitting first , glad i did! Will sit nice though , real phat!

Just got to roughly bolt guards back on so i can get a better idea on how low i can take it . friends rolling all 4 of the guards for me before they get bolted back on.

Rims will be satin black , yum !

Cheers Dan

Great choice of wheels, seen them on a few type 1's down here lately, should look mad on the notch.
