Popout window installation

Hi people,
Just have a quick question.
I installed my popout windows yesterday in the rat, but on the front end of the window appears to stick out more than the rear when closed. I think that maybe i have the brackets around the wrong way, although they are the same way as the previous owner had them.

Flatten your hinge more.
Its together right , try flattening your hinge so its all a real tight fit for the screw plate.
