Beetle hubcaps on Type 3 rims.


Damo here are those pics you wanted, Simply make 3 slots in the inner edge of the hubcap to correspond with the three dimples in the rim.

One of the Locals {Upper Hunter } has early hubcaps on His Super Beetle.....
He said they fitted on easily...
the inner rim of the hubcap grips onto the late model wheels..

Are they going onto a 1968-69 type 3 that had the flat type hubcaps that were used on the 1966-67 German made Beetles... but never used on Beetles in Australia...
The were usually used with chrome trim that matched the wheels...
