Type 3 1600cc engine for sale


Type 3 1600cc engine for sale, 2 years old, very strong, I also have the dyno sheets for hp @ the wheels, air fuel ratio & tourqe.
Owner selling as he now has a new 1641cc engine.
Come with carbies, air filter setup, fan on crank & alloy fan housing.
$500.

Where abouts are you? I am looking for a 1600 kombi engine (just blew mine to bits). Whats the difference with type3?

It put out 38hp @ the wheels, which Mike at CBB who dynoed it says is very healthy for a stocker. It sits on 70mph on the freeway quite easily.

I'm on the Central Coast , 1 hour north of Sydney.
I have no idea if it can go into a kombi? I'm sure that someone on this forum can answer that though.

Can't say for sure, but the mount at the rear of the 1600 case is same for type 3 and kombi, which is the importent bit.

As for interchangability, all you can really use from type 3 is the long block and swap all tinware/fan/etc over to put back in kombi.
Not sure if flywheel is the same.
As you have both motor's it shouldn't be hard to swap all the bits over.
