My old piccies
I just thought these may be of some interest to some of you out there in VW land, they're about 22 years old and I've a lot more where these came
from! The first one was my beetle in its last guise, everything was steel and even lead filled (just for the novelty of it at the time), no door
handles, all chrome removed, Triumph Stag front seats, drinks cabinet inside, no rear seat just all deep buttoned dralon interior and a wicked motor

Next is at a show where this one had a sloped roof where a wedge is cut from the rear pillar then more from the next etc then realigned as opposed to
a proper roof chop

Correction that bug WAS real sweet, that was in it's last state, shame I didn't get any shots of the back as the whole back inc. rear of the wings
and engine lid came of as one unit, mind you it didn't die in vain as the engine ,gearbox, electrics, seats all went into a Karmann Ghia!
