Selling 1971 Type 3 Squareback $4,500 "Now With Pics"

My name is David, ph no. 0417 675 156.I am selling a 1971 type 3 squareback. Light yellow in colour, it was resprayed 2 years ago, it is a manual 1600. I am the third owner and it is always garaged. The motor was reconditioned only 5000 miles ago. It has a few spots of rust, namely front left corner of bonnett, and bottom left corner of rear hatch, but it hasnt broken the paintwork. Has RTA authorised child restraint bar fitted. Comes with 10 months rego. Could do with new carpets, otherwise in great condition. Selling due to lack of use.The car is located in Balgowlah, Sydney(near Manly).

Chainsaw - welcome to the forum. This car sounds familiar - did you buy it from Newcastle way - it's a lemon colour? If so it was advertised on here around a year ago. It seemed like a good buy then, and I did see it in the flesh at a mates workshop - if it is the same car. And it certainly is worth $4500 at most. Some pics would certainly help sell your car.

Rearengine - welcome to the forum too. No offence rearengine, but you'd think your second post on the site would be a little more positive towards someone trying to sell their car....and you may then receive a better reception from other dubbers.

The pics have to be less than 50 kb, just reduce them in imaging or similar program then attach.

better still email them to me at patconnell3@aol.com and I will put them up there.

Pat

Paddo, Thanks so much for your help with the photos. Yeah it is a light lemon colour, haven't seen another vw this colour, but i am told it is a factory colour. It looks as good as the photos, only difference is personalised number plates. Hope this helps people appreciate the condition of the car.

Nice Squareback

Have seen this car, it is very cool, in far better nick than my notch I sold a while ago for $3500 and that was good. Worth $4500 worth a look, am tempted myself but my other half would freak. It all depends on how you value things.

Just had full service, including new rear pads and reconnect speedo cable, otherwise just regular service. It is running like a dream, surley someone out there is after a squareback in excellent condition.
