I had the same problem my 66 wheel, it had some nasty cracks and the prices I saw for replacements were too much, so i fixed it. It was quite easy and
really turned out as good as new ....
I ground out the cracks and filled them with Tecni Glue (a super araldite type glue) then I sanded that ,used some bog and spray putty to get it
smooth and sprayed it with enamel ,I had the colour made up for me at the auto paint shop and used it on the wheel, while I was at it I sprayed the
seat frames, steering column and hand brake lever, made the car look new.
I was not that hard and solved the problem cheaply, Maybe you could give it a try
