desperately seeking ...
howdy do de everyone, I'm in desprite need of a golde ragtop for a 58 beetle. The car is ready to be painted however all I'm waiting on is the
ragtop. Here's the problem though, I have bugger all cash. I know this sounds ridiculous, but if anyone has one going cheap, or know of anyone who
has one going cheap, I'd really really really appreciate a 2u2. The condition of the rag doesn't matter as I'm going to replace it anyway.

i missed it...boo hoo, but even that was too rich for my blood. I cried when I missed out on the one at BM swap meet for $400

how do you know its a [goldi] rag top?
ive got one 90% com but wasnt told anything about [goldi]
do they have specific dimentions or any noticable differences from another type of rag ?

it has the tracks which you attatch to the hole
sliddy bits ,n a handle to lock it down at the front
its not connected to an existing roof if thats what you mean
and sorry it isnt for sale

that sounds like a Britag (or whater it is spelled)
A golgie has a webbed/ribbed section that iis cut/welded into the roof. Usually sold as a roof clip / section for that reason
