flipflop,
Contact DAN (vwtyp2) about his january 54. Really original unit, very hard to come by something so original. Dont think you will find anything much older than this. He wants $5000 for it.
Thanks

Hey guys

Thanks for the replies. May sound odd, but actually in the uk at the mo. Fly out tomorrow for a month, then back again in Mar for good. Was planning on bringing my 57 panel and oval with me, but looks like it's going to be a pain to get the through the inspection, especially as the van is LHD. Looking to get the replacements during the next month, then I won't feel so bad about selling mine before I come home.

Fish, what year is the van? Looks cool.

Hey Turbo, the 54, is that the one that was on ebay a while back? If so could be very interested. Does it still have the hearts and semaphores?

Hi Byronbus

You got any pics of the oval, I've seen the pics of the 57 panel, exactly like mine, bugger! You got a rough list of the panels needed? I Can get them over here and ship them in the container. what parts come with the van?

How much you looking for it?

Looks good Classic, but too clean. I'm planning on slamming it, putting a prostreet in the back linked to a 2180 and disks allround. The other half would kill me if I spent that much just to tear it apart.
Looks like half decent surf in the background, where is that?

That's one to remember. Localism is a pain in the arse, it's getting bad here in the uk, especially in Newquay, crap surf, crap weather and crap attitudes. Can't wait till I'm home, warm weather, good surf and lippy groms, but not millions of kooks crowding.

David, the 60 is early enough to be interesting, what tailights have you got going on there? Has the engine bay been painted behind the tank?
