What is a 'steering damper'?
Just looking at the koni website and wondering what the steering damper is. Obviously got something to do with suspension? |

What the name say's!
Effectively a shock absorber for steering. It helps remove jarring frome the wheels coming through the steering wheel as well as improving handeling
on rough roads.

Yes just a double acting small shock absorber...
they were intruduced on Beetles in 1959 [from memory]
You can tell the difference if You take it off.. or fit one that works...
