It might get noticed then,
Funny how people keep an eye out for splits,
I would imagine it would be hard to have an accident in one,
They couldnt really say, "i didnt see you"
Got the delivery yet????

Geez - if you whacked that thing up on bricks, it'd make a great toolshed or perhaps greenhouse?

But seriously - how can you part with something like this? It's the containment unit for your soul isn't it?

You know how they say that beetles float.
Well how about the other way round, turn my bus into a large fish tank.

Would make a great water feature, jamie would be proud.

Oh by the way, thinking of selling mine again??????

I reckon dave, that if we didn't have this forum you probably wouldn't think about selling your car again.

Best mod I have seen to a funny windows in the roof bus,
Now you can see all of the road, and not have to worry about hitting a very skinny man who you cant see because of the silly thing in the middle of the screen.

Any instructions on how to do this great conversion, was it an extra, Would I validate my warranty if I did this.

Anthony, its a little joke now, I will never sell the bus.

Cheers
Dave

Dave I see you are running your on the beach . Have you Baja rised it? Such a rust promoting environment combined with the rust causing silicone you used for the trim Must depreciate it substantially? LOL MITCHL

Hi Mitch.

Those were the days, when all we had to worry about was rust promoting silicone.
Its O.K. though as I sealed the sand with 2 pac primer before I drove on it.

To anyone who doesnt know what we are having a laugh about.
When I fitted my deluxe trim(where did I get that from now) I drilled the holes, about 200 and sprayed fish oil in them and sealed the holes by dipping the screws in silicone sealant,
Some one commented that the silicone would promote rust as it was acidic. (dont know where that came from).

Anyway its still standing.

Cheers

if you read the instructions on the silicone tubes you will find one has an etching acid in its formula and one is a neutral cure to be used on steel. its all there on the label.

The silicone I used stated that it was non-corrosive and to be used on glass, creamics, steel, copper and any other metals,
It was Sellys wet use.
I dont see if it is non-corrosive how it will corrode my bus????

Cheers
