FS Pop-top roofracks, Stainless steel custom
Just started wrecking a 75 pop-top kombi, more parts to follow.
Pair of custom stainless steel roofracks to suit pop-top camper. They bolt through the canopy (stainless bolts included) so no need to remove them
when your camping.
$60 ono.

those racks look pretty clever. any extra bracing needed below the fibreglass to stop them from ripping out? i have mounted one of those old tubular
racks in that way, but i put some serious steel under the poptop as i was afraid of bolts ripping through.

Did'nt find any extra bracing when I pulled them off. The front rack sits on an area that feels pretty solid, guess they were designed as lightweight
racks (great for surf boards). Was going to use them myself but my pop-top is a sunliner (full length, different shape).
Would'nt be hard to put some extra brackets in,,

mmm. mines a trakka. you should look into the type of rack I've put on for yours. they're the ones that you see on the 80s falcadors and similar.

I have seen a few for my type of pop-top (sunliner) but don't really need them (only just fit into underground carparks as it is....
