How useful are the pull down windshield protectors I see on Kombis?
Are they a must for dirt roads? What about normal roads? Where and How much. If I lost the glass from my 75 would it be hard / expensive to
replace?????

Philip
Have to say I have waited 33 years for a bug to bite. Owning a kombi is IT!!!!! I doubt I will ever be without one now.

Not really a must have. Some PPL can't take having to look through the wire either, it strains the eye's a bit! If your lucky you can sometimes pick
them up from the tip!

they were mostly useful when you only had the old zone toughened windsceen ,i guess they would still be handy but now you only get chips not the big
