Will a 76 bay Steering wheel fit 72 bay???
I think the number of splines in the steering changed in 73 so I dont think the one I am looking at buying for my 72 from a 76 will fit my bay, I am
hoping I am wrong...
Anyone know anything??

you are correct, they did change the column in 1973, the early steering wheels are very hard to get off, the later wheels very easy, best thing long
term is to get a later steering column

Can't tell you the exact year, but I'm sure your right. '76 will not fit '72.

my '73 had an early column.
when I p[ut the deluxe padded wheel in, I had to change the column.
it's only a 20 min job |
