Best place to buy Type 3 door seal kit?
I have looked at the deluex kit on the west coast metric site, they want $429US for one! Covers both doors.
I have to try and get hold of one, my car is leaking water onto the floor of the car!
Cheers for any ideas on where to get the best deal.
Thanks.

This is what i've found out for my Notch. I was quoted about $275 for a german quality door seal , 1 !!
Was advised to by 2 beetle ones and 1 more to cut up. Appartantly the seal on the Notch is bigger so you make a join down at the bottm front part of
the door.
Half the price or.......
CIP have a complete german quality kit for the whole door. Kit includes new chrome surround with outer scraper , inner scraper , new felt channels ,
clips , all 1/4 window rubbers and door seal. It's $280 US plus tax and shipping.
Cheers Dan

If you don't mind fiddling, I think Mick Motors still has some cheaper Brazillian ones. He'll tell you of the quality issues and work needed to make
tham fit. I have not tried them myself, but probably what I will buy eventually for mine.

you could always try classic vee dub in rydlemere, sydney. he has supplied me with pretty cheap rubbers and can usually help with aranging shipping.
i've always had good experiences with him and works out cheapest.
