hub cap clips


can anyboby tell me how to get the rivets out of the rim so i can change the hub cap clips.

drill them out, just centre punch in the middle first and use a smaler drill than the rivet then you should be able to knock them out with a pin punch:)

You might make the hole a bit bigger, try a 1/8 to start.

Be careful of some of the new clips that you can get, they tend to be really brittle and you end up having to replace them more than once.

I think the holes are ~3/16" or there abouts. Start small and work up.
