I have a couple of 32's off a 1600, but they will need a complete rebuild and a lot of TLC.
Just get a 009 for your dizzy, about $140 I think.

If your not in super hurry for the money you will spend on carbies etc, I have perfectly running TLE motor (fuel injection) for $350. You can test
drive in car. It is anticipated that motor will be coming out sometime in February.

TLE = Fuel injected type 3
TL = Carb type 3
The "E" stands for Electronic injection.
So the motor is a stock 1600 type 3 fuel injected motor. The only problem is that unless the car was originally fuel injected (which is quite
possible) it will not have a return fuel line. To install one properly requires a bit of work. If GT has all of the FI gear including fuel pump, ECU
etc for $350, then it's a good deal. They work great when they work, but parts are getting hard to find and very few mechanics still know how to
service them.
What is wrong with your distributor? Although a 009 will work, it's better to stay with the original. The original distributors have much better
advance curves and are better quality.

mine orginaly was a TLE and was converted to carbies then bought by the previous owner who drove it until rego ran out then parked it in his back yard
and used the carbies and took the distrubitor off for a freind, hence i need these parts. also presuming i take this generous offer Dunham Auto
Repairs is just a few minuits drive away. |

Sounds like you should seriously consider going back to FI. As I said $350 for a complete, running FI motor is a pretty good deal.
Assuming your existing motor is OK, you can just swap the FI gear over. This way you don't need to remove the motor, and with a good manual you can
do it yourself.
The only thing to check is if your car is an auto, you will need an auto FI air distributor. If not, it doesn't matter.
