Empi 8 spokes on a L bug

Hi just a quick question, i am looking at getting a set of empi 8 spokes for my L bug. after doing a search of the forum, ppl have said that they find that they have a different offset.

I have also had problems with a set of 14inch jelly bean mags not clearing the brake capliper (std caliper) will this be an issue?

I run 195/60r15 on the front on 5.5 inch rims (std offset) and they just scrape the inside lip on full compression (the car is lowered and stiffer). while the rear are 205/60r15 and these fill the gurads perfectly. just hoping to get a few ideas about these wheels?

cheers

I've got empi 8's on my L bug and had no probs with clearance - I've got 205 65 15's on the back and 195 65 15's on the front.

Make sure you get the right length wheel bolts as well - stock ones are too short. You need about and extra 11 or 15mm or so from memory.

Cool. I have been told they have a ET22mm, while i think the std ones are et 29mm? so these will be 7mm furhter out.

its time to go shopping then :)
