Lights only high beam
my kombi lights when on are only high beam. Clicking the arm on the steering wheel forward produces the 'click' but the lights stay on high
beam. I have pulled the switch out of the dash, and it only has 2 pins. one to the fusebox and the other has wires to steering column. any ideas
folks?

Hmmm does sound like a stuck relay.
Helbus is getting a bit of this at the moment, and with a light tap on the relay it changes.
I would say that is definitley your first looking area

Yes the relay is the obvious culprit. Same thing happened on my Kombi.
When you flick the column and you hear the click, is the click coming from the column switch AND the fusebox? The relay is mounted in the fusebox, and
you should be able to hear it clicking.
The relay is mounted upside down - that is, with the pins facing up. On my Kombi, the windscreen rubber leaked slightly and water was able to trickle
its way down to the fuse box. Over time the relay gets damp, rusts up and stops working.
Pull the relay off and replace it. I bet it fixes the problem. If so, check right up under the dash for any water leaks!
