Wanted:- 135s or 145s
Has anyone got, or know where to get some 135s / 145s? Second hand with good tread not an issue.

Been trying to call George the last 2 days - constantly engaged. Doddy was saying Nankang are nearly as good but cheaper. Anyone heard of them or
where to get them. Some place out Penrith way?

I've heard good things about Nankangs. Maybe look up tyremaster on the web - they distribute heaps of brands...

I know for a fact that Ben at Antique Tyres in Heidelberg (melbourne) has 3 135's and a few 145's (michi's 130 each!) and some Firestone
135's.....Not sure how mush freight will be to NSW though.

i personally have opted for michelin 135's for my oval .... defenetly better buy than nankang.... you get what you pay for.....
just remember that you braking surface will be less so it's worth investing the extra dollars for the extra grip....my 2 cents

tyres 135 v 145
Bob Jane sell nankang 135s there about $65 each these are a sister company of yokohoma. They won't have them in stock but will get them the next
day.
Personally I would go for 145 continental tyres (smart car tyre )again from most tyre shops. Bob jane qouted me $140 each these are a much better
tyre built with the lastest modern rubber technology. Also a bonus is that they have a built in rim saver to protect your wheel from kerbing.
