I am not sure what the link is but there does seem to be alot of mountain biking VW owners, not only here but OS as well. Any way this is a great bike for free riders or beginner down hill riders. Makes a great statement when sitting ontop of some vintage racks on a beetle.

I agree as it is still bordering on too hot to ride at the moment up here, in saying this I am still managing to ride 3 times a week. Kona's are great bikes for a great price, the reason I am selling this one is to upgrade to an 05' Stinky.

LAMS,
The bike braket to go onto a vintage rack is also for sale as it will not suit my new bike! I would only be asking $75 for it, the hard bit to get is the rack, but all things are available at a price;).
I will consdier all reasonable offers for this bike as it must go!
