WTB : Shitloads....cables, hoses....HELP!
Okay Okay,
And before we start..I swear I am the worst typist here....pushing all the wrong buttons at the wrong time.....just ask my partner about his
car...hehe...so pls bear with me.
Okay, I bought a bug yesterday...and knwo I need to the following, just to start:
New windscreen
Hand brake cable (you should have seen the test drive when the guy and I changed over....just put foot here, hold till i'm on ur side...and jump
when I say....flmoa)
Clutch has a lot of play...(pls lead me to thread which says how to tighten it)
Kick plates (I think most call them side somethings...yeah I'm very technically minded (not))
Back light housing (drivers side...I don't think that matter though does it (side that is) but then Ii rarely think right??)
glove box insert
headliner
and a big fat hose thing in motor area....he's is taped it up and still has major holes....I think it's at a point where the tape is holding
tape.
Also car comes with owners manual...so when it arrives here, I should be able to tell u in more technical terms (that u guys understand) what I am
looking for.
But any help appreciated, even if ur only directing me to strings
cheers

Your best bet would be a workshop manual. It will tell you how to do this and everything else that is likely to need doing on your car.

I am guessing that you are referring to the heater hoses. Big two inch hose out of cardboard type material, usually silver in color. Get new ones
(only $15-20) and asap as holes in these will make your motor run hotter, which is not good in brissie.
