WTB: Type 3 Distributor... Or 009 considered... CHEAP!
Hi there..
I'm after a new distributor for our '72 Type 3..
the internal workings of the current are worn out.. and thats making the car run a bit.. well... crap.
Would prefer an original Type 3 one if possible, but would aslo consider a 009 if someone has one cheap enough...
And by cheap i mean cheap!
(i'm on centrelink.. so that gives you an idea how cheap it has to be lol!)
Thanks in advance!

Hey Jo, have you considered having your dizzy rebuilt? A new vac advance dizzy is fairly expensive (if you can even get one) and most places would
probably charge you around $70 for a second hand one.
What exactly is wrong with the internals of yours?
Ain't nothin' like the wind in your hair.

I was told that its the plate that the points bolt to has come lose, and thus the timing is near impossible to set right...

Here is an svda one you can use. The vacuum can works, the points screw is good and the advance plate is tight. Needs the points, rotor and cap. The
shaft needs dressing with fine emery paper and oil or similar as it has a bit of dried out grunge on it from sitting in a box for years.
Yours for the price of the postage.
