WTB Need SHOCKER advise 1970 BEETLE

What sort of brand of short shocker do I need to buy. Does Anybody have some the want to part with for my 1970 beetle. It currently has selector drops and the front end is sitting on the bumper stoppers in the original shockers. Please Help Me!:cry

I have Cofap gas in mine - it's possible to cut down the bump rubber (it's part of the shock, but external, IYKWIM) by a coupel of inches. Works on mine - but mine is set up for handling, not super-dooper-silly low

i agree with the dancing grover, essentially you get what you pay for. unless you can snag a really great 2nd hand deal.

also torana etc but is hard to cut the steel pin out of the bottom,,,
